MEDIA RELEASE 2021-2022



Kentucky Ballet Theatre plans to return to the stage for its 24 th Season on October 22 & 23,
2021 for a mixed repertoire performance, Ballet at Sunset, at the Moondance Amphitheater in
Lexington’s Beaumont Center. Ticket information will be available on the KBT Website at
www.kyballet.com on September 23, 2021.

KBT’s next performance will be everyone’s holiday favorite The Nutcracker at the Lexington
Opera House on Saturdays, December 11 & 18, 2021 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm and on Sundays,
December 12 & 19 at 2:00pm. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster starting September 23,
2021. For further ticketing information, please contact the Central Bank Center Ticket Office
859-233-3535.

The Ballet on the Go performance is scheduled at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center Friday
and Saturday March 26 & 27, 2022. Performance times are 7:00pm on Friday the 26th , and
2:00pm on Saturday the 27th . Information will be posted on the KBT Website starting on
February 1, 2022. www.kyballet.com

KBT will conclude its season in May with Beauty and the Beast on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at
7:00pm, & Sunday, May 15 at 2:00pm at the Lexington Opera House. Tickets will be available
from Ticketmaster starting September 23, 2021. For further ticketing information contact the
Central Bank Center Ticket Office 859-233-3535.

KBT will also be conducting performance tours around the state, including:
The Nutcracker will be performed November 30, 2021 At the Center for Rural
Development Theater in Somerset, KY. For more information on this production,

Kentucky Ballet Theatre Artistic Director Norbe Risco is excited about the upcoming 2021-22
Performance Season and would like to welcome the following performing artists to the KBT
Professional Company this year: Alexander Guzman from Ponce, Puerto Rico; Llonnis Del Toro
Cintra from-Havana, Cuba; Yui Kaito from Tokyo, Japan; Alisha Hill from St. Louis, Missouri;
Alexandra Montgomery from Seattle, Washington; Holly Marcin from Woodridge, Illinois;
Megan Klotter from Bowling Green, Kentucky; Kelly Hill from St. Louis, Missouri; and Sarah
LaFountain from Lexington, Kentucky. KBT would also like to congratulate long time KBT
performing artist Kelsey Van Tine who will be joining the Atlanta Ballet this season. Everyone at
KBT wishes her well!!
