Alexandra Montgomery was born in Seattle, WA and began her dance career at four years old. She studied at the Evergreen City Ballet in the Seattle Metro area for 15 years under the direction of Wade Walthall, Kevin Kaiser, Julie Tobiason, Louise Nadeau, and Gillmer Duran and other notable Principal Dancers. There she performed various solo roles such as Sugar Plum in, "The Nutcracker," Aurora in "Sleeping Beauty," Swanhilda in "Coppelia." Ms. Montgomery has attended Summer Intensive Programs and Workshops at the Evergreen City Ballet, Northwest Dance Project in Portland, OR., and at the Joffrey Ballet in NYC. Ms. Montgomery has choreographed multiple classic and contemporary pieces for the Evergreen City Ballet, as well as performed for the DASS Company. Alexandra Montgomery joined Kentucky Ballet Theatre in 2019 as a trainee and was promoted to a Company dancer 2023. Some of her favorite roles preformed with KBT have been Arabian Coffee and Enchanted Clara in, "The Nutcracker," The Wicked Witch in "Wizard of Oz," Mrs. Pots in, "Beauty and the Beast" & She has also enjoyed preforming in various excerpts from shows such as Dracula, Magic Garden, and Don Juan.
